Arizona Sundogs/CHL Junior Reporter Program
The Arizona Sundogs are excited to participate in the CHL Junior Reporter Program, which returns for the 2007-08 CHL season with six (6) opportunities in each CHL city for kids to closely interact with their favorite team and players. Participants must be between the ages of 8 and 16. Interested participants can apply for a Junior Reporter slot via the Central Hockey League website. Those selected, along with an accompanying adult, will receive a pair of tickets to the selected Arizona Sundogs game, a tour of Tim's Toyota Center, an opportunity to meet with team beat writers, view the game from the Press Box, and interview a player or coach following the contest.

Where possible, the CHL Junior Reporter will also be interviewed on the team’s radio broadcast. Once his or her game is complete, the Junior Reporter will file his or her article, and pictures of the experience whenever possible, on both the Central Hockey League website, www.centralhockeyleague.com, and on the Official Website of the Arizona Sundogs, www.arizonasundogs.com. Each Junior Reporter is limited to one game per season to allow others an opportunity to participate.

Those selected will also receive a press package from the CHL containing a personalized Press Pass, a CHL puck, and personalized notepaper for use at their scheduled game.

Those selected to participate are contacted via email with confirmation of the date he or she will serve as a Junior Reporter, and will receive further details as their date approaches. Each Junior Reporter will work in conjunction with the Arizona Sundogs Manager of Communications. Following the selected game, each participant will have seven days to submit his or her article (between 250 and 1000 words) via email.

Presented in conjunction with Prescott Newspapers, Inc. (PNI), a Stick Kid will be selected for each game through a charitable organization of PNI’s choice or through a special promotion being offered through the newspaper for a chance to win four (4) Glass Seats to an Arizona Sundogs game.

The Stick Kid and his or her family will arrive at the Prescott Valley Convention & Events Center early on game night and be greeted by a member of the Arizona Sundogs staff for a behind-the-scenes tour of the arena. The group will then receive dinner in the arena lounge, courtesy of Prescott Newspapers, Inc.

Seated on the glass, the Stick Kid will be spotlighted and his or her name announced during the first period of the game. Afterwards, the winner will be escorted to the Sundogs dressing room for a photo opportunity with a player and have a special mini-stick signed by the player.

Special Event Nights

Event Participation
Arizona Sundogs coaches, staff, players, and mascot will be available to participate in outside events, such as visiting sick children in the hospital and appearing at various community events throughout the region.

Our Ongoing Commitment to Yavapai County and Beyond
The Arizona Sundogs are committed to being one of the preeminent leaders in our community and throughout the region. As such, we have a responsibility to the people we represent – our valued season ticket holders, corporate partners, fans, and the people in Northern Arizona.

As the Arizona Sundogs organization grows from an expansion team, we will become a leading example for others to follow not only on the ice, but off the ice as well. While impossible to fulfill the needs of every charitable organization in the area, we are committed to do our best to create a simple message – one of HOPE – for the youth and underprivileged.
