SUNDOGS HELP RAISE FUNDS FOR FALLEN LIEUTENANT

Prescott Valley, AZ – The Arizona Sundogs, the Prescott Valley Police Department’s K-9 Unit and the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office have been working together to bring this fundraising opportunity to light. With the support of the Fain Signature Group, Global Entertainment (Tim’s Toyota Center) and Gettix, the Sundogs’ ticketing agent, $3 of every ticket purchased for March 1st game will be donated back to Lt. Loughrige’s surviving family members.

Lt. Loughrige and his son, Joseph Arter, 17 a senior at Prescott High School were both killed in a single vehicle collision on State Route Highway 69 on January 11, 2013. At the time of the crash Lt. Loughrige was off-duty and unfortunately his family forfeited any department death benefits.

Brad Fain, of Fain Signature Group graciously promised to match the $1 Sundogs’ contributions made through the purchase of Sundogs tickets, if the game sells out.

Arizona Sundogs’ Director of Ticket Sales, Sean Tessman and Prescott Valley Police Department, Commander, Art Askew have been instrumental in organizing this fundraiser. Lt Loughrige’s best friend, Lt. Tom Boelts has also had a hand in raising awareness for this event and has helped spread the word in the public.

For those that are unable to attend the March 1, Sundogs game but are still interested in contributing they may purchase game tickets and the Sundogs staff will allocate them to a charity on your behalf.
