ARIZONA SUNDOGS SWEEP OAKLEY WEEKLY AWARDS

GLENDALE, AZ (February 3, 2014) –The Central Hockey League announced today that the Arizona Sundogs have swept the Oakley Player and Goaltender of the Week Awards for the period ending February 2, 2014. Forward Kevin Baker has been named the week’s top skater and goaltender Andrew Engelage has been named the week’s top goalie (the third time he was won the weekly honor).

Baker netted the game winning goal in all three games on the week for the red-hot Sundogs. The Kingston, Ontario native finished the week with five goals and one assist and on the season has 19 goals and 14 assists in 40 games played.

Engelage earned victories in all three Sundogs games last week, a three-game series sweep over the first place Rapid City Rush. The Oshawa, Ontario native stopped 92 of the 97 shots he faced on the week (.948 save percentage) and on the season is 18-8-2 with a 2.42 goals against average and a .919 save percentage.
