These are somewhat frustrating times for Arizona Sundogs defenseman/assistant coach Chris Bartolone. Out since Jan. 23 with an undisclosed injury, the 19-year veteran has been relegated to sitting and watching as his team attempts to make a late-season charge at a playoff spot.

Bartolone, a Michigan native with Italian heritage, suited up for Italy's national hockey team in 1998 at the Nagano Olympics.

While the Italians finished the tournament 1-2-defeating Austria but falling to Kazakhstan and Slovakia-it's was a career defining moment for Bartolone, and one he will never soon forget.
